Tendencias Actuales sobre el Ejercicio de la Maternidad una Revisión Integrativa

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como propósito identificar las tendencias actuales sobre el ejercicio de la maternidad para contribuir a la promoción de los derechos sexuales y derechos reproductivos de las mujeres. Esta investigación responde a la línea de la salud sexual y salud reproductiva, considerando los derechos sexuales y derechos reproductivos. Debido al escaso abordaje de la temática desde la disciplina de enfermería es pertinente en primera instancia realizar un estudio secundario mediante la metodología de la revisión integrativa. La revisión integrativa es definida por Whittemore y Knafl (1), como la categoría más amplia de las revisiones de investigación, que implica la literatura empírica o teórica, o ambas, dependiendo de la intención. La variedad en el marco de muestreo, tiene el potencial de aumentar la profundidad y amplitud de las conclusiones. Así, el instrumento que utiliza para la recolección y organización de datos corresponde a la Red Internacional de Enfermería en Salud Ocupacional (REDENSO Internacional) la cual contiene información sobre el artículo o revista en la que fue publicado y sobre los autores, características metodológicas del estudio, evaluación del rigor metodológico y evaluación de los hallazgos. Para efecto de la evaluación de datos, se realiza una interpretación exhaustiva e imparcial de los datos obtenidos en las fuentes, y para ello se requirió que los mismos estuviesen plenamente ordenados, codificados y clasificados. Fue necesario el empleo de técnicas para simplificar y resumir el enfoque de codificación y organizar los datos extraídos de fuentes primarias para garantizar el rigor metodológico que se exige. La lectura detallada de las publicaciones, y la clasificación por subgrupos de acuerdo con la temática abordada permitió recopilar la información relevante. En esta etapa se garantiza, además, que no se repitieran las publicaciones incluidas. Para la visualización de los datos, se organizó la información en el instrumento seleccionado para la recolección de datos, utilizando una matriz del programa Microsoft Excel, y la caracterización de los datos por medio de tablas y gráficos. En base al escrutinio de los hallazgos se evidencian 6 tendencias actuales de maternidad las que son: Madres solteras por elección, No maternidad, Maternidad subrogada, Lesbomaternidad, Tías PANK, Maternidad postergada, y se llega a la conclusión que los servicios de atención en salud están dirigidos para el modelo de “familia tradicional”, donde se hace hincapié en el replanteamiento para lograr una salud sexual y reproductiva integral en cada uno de las tendencias actuales de maternidad. Es necesario señalar que se establecieron las consideraciones Éticas para la realización de la presente tesis de maestría, donde se tuvo en cuenta la Resolución 8430 de 1993 Resolución N.8430. Finalmente, las conclusiones y recomendaciones del trabajo, revelan el alcance de los objetivos propuestos.

The present investigation expects to identify the current tendencies about the exercise of Motherhood for the promotion of women`s sexual rights and reproductive rights. Its general objective consist in carry out the investigation in obstetric gynecology and perinatal nursing base on the best available evidence. This investigation focuses on the line of sexual health and reproductive health considering the sexual rights and reproductive rights. For the aforementioned the need arises to carry out a bibliographic investigation about the new tendencies of the exercise of Maternity by the methodological modality of the integrative review. Thus, an integrative review is carried out, of descriptive range, based on the established parameters by Whittemore and Knafl who defend the integrative review as the broadest category of investigation review, that implies empirical or theoretical literature, or both, depends on the intention. The variety in the sampling frame has the potential to increase the depth and breadth of the conclusions. Thus, the instrument that is used for the collection and organization of data belongs to Red Internacional de Enfermería en Salud Ocupacional (REDENSO Internacional) which contains information about the article or magazine in which it was published and about the authors, methodological features of the study, evaluation of methodological rigor and evaluation of the findings. For the purpose of evaluating data, a thorough and impartial interpretation of the data obtained in the sources is carried out, and for this purpose it was required that they be fully ordered, coded and classified. It was necessary to use techniques to simplify and summarize the coding approach and organize the data extracted from primary sources to guarantee the methodological rigor that is required. The detailed reading of the publications, and the classification by subgroups according to the subject matter, allowed to compile the relevant information. In this stage, it is also guaranteed that the publications included are not repeated. For the visualization of the data, the information was organized in the selected instrument for the data collection, using a matrix of the Microsoft program: excel, and the characterization of the data by means of tables and charts. Based on the scrutiny of the findings, there are 6 current trends in maternity which are: Single mothers by choice, Non-maternity, Surrogacy, Lesbomaternity, Aunts PANK, Delayed motherhood, and concludes that health care services are aimed at the "traditional family" model, which emphasizes the replacement to achieve comprehensive sexual and reproductive health in each of the current trends of motherhood. It is necessary to point out that Ethical considerations were established for the realization of the present master's thesis, which took into account Resolution N8430 of 1993. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations of the work reveal the scope of the proposed objectives.
