Abstract
Obesity is one of the main risk factors for cardiovascular disease and heart failure. Contrary to what we would believe, multiple studies have found a relationship between overweight and obesity with a decrease in mortality in patients with heart failure. In this study, possible explanations for this correlation are analyzed from the pathophysiological point of view.
