dc.description.abstract	This is a linguistic autobiography whose objective is to explore some of the linguistic, socio-cultural and personality factors that have contributed to the fact that the author has successfully acquired English as a foreign language, has experienced varying degrees of success while learning other languages, but has not acquired Arabic, her heritage language.
