Posturas “antipornografía” y “anticensura” en el feminismo. Una reflexión sobre sus diferencias y similitudes

Abstract

En el presente ensayo se plantea una discusión sobre tendencias “antipornografía” y “anticensura” en la pornografía. Se señalan algunas diferencias entre ambas, pero el aporte central será el señalamiento de proximidades en tanto ambas líneas conciben la pornografía como imagen u objeto (acabado), en donde no hay una trascendencia en la forma de comprensión. Objetivo: El objetivo principal es comparar y describir dos de los posicionamientos más importantes cuando se ha tratado de pensar e investigar la pornografía desde el feminismo. Método: Se realizó una sistematización de referencias clásicas y contemporáneas en el gestor de referencias Mendeley y para su categorización más en profundidad se trabajó con un documento en Excel. Resultados: Por lo general las referencias académicas consultadas insisten en las diferencias sociohistóricas, en las nociones sobre sexualidad y pornografía que hay entre las posturas “antipornografía” y “anticensura” en el feminismo. No obstante, rara vez se problematizan las similitudes y continuidades entre sí, las cuales están asociadas a la ubicación de la pornografía como imagen u objeto. Conclusión: En el cierre, el ensayo propone que es necesaria una lectura la pornografía como proceso relacional en constante despliegue (inacabado), no simplemente como imagen u objeto.

This essay raises a discussion about the “anti-pornography” and “anti-censorship” feminism tendencies in the pornography. Some of the differences between both are pointed out, but the central contribution will be in the pointing of proximities as both lines conceive pornography as an image or object (finished), where there is no transcendence in the way of understanding. Objective: The main objective is to compare and to describe two of the most important positions when trying to think and investigate pornography from feminism. Method: A systematization of classic and contemporary references was carried out on the Mendeley reference manager and for its more indepth categorization an Excel document was used. Results: In general, the academic references consulted insist on the sociohistorical differences, on the notions about sexuality and the pornography that exist between the “anti-pornography” and “anticensorship” positions. However, the similarities and continuities among themselves are rarely problematized, which are associated to the ubication of pornography as an imagen or object. Conclusion: In the closing, the essay proposed that it is necessary to read pornography as a relational process in constant unfolding (unfinished), not simply as an image or object.
