dc.description	En el presente ensayo se abordan cinco aspectos relevantes para dar sustento teórico a la educación de niños y de niñas con derechos. Primeramente se enfoca la importancia de las experiencias tempranas y los aportes de las diferentes teorías del desarrollo humano que respaldan las prácticas de crianza con que se sugiere educar a niños y a niñas. Seguidamente se analiza la importancia de las percepciones que tienen las madres jefas de hogar, acerca de los límites que emplean en las prácticas de crianza para educar a niños y a niñas. Luego, en el siguiente apartado se revisan informes del estado de los derechos de la niñez y la adolescencia en Costa Rica y sus aportes, y en el último apartado, se presentan investigaciones costarricenses que reflejan prácticas de crianza violadoras de los "Derechos de la niñez". A manera de conclusión se afirma que para educar a los niños y a las niñas como personas de derechos se requiere invertir en la educación de madres jefas de hogar, ya que en Costa Rica el hogar monoparental, con jefe de familia mujer está en aumento. In the following essay, the author describes five relevant issues that serve as a theoretical basis for children's education with their rights. First, the author focuses on the importance of early experiences, and the input from the different human development theories that underlie the child-rearing practices suggested for the education of children. Then, the author analyzes the significance of the head-of-home mother's perception regarding limits in the practices they use in their children's nurturing. In the following section, a countrywide report of children's and teenagers' rights in Costa Rica and their benefits to the country are reviewed; and in the final section, a presentation of several research papers on child-raising practices that violate children's rights in Costa Rica is made. To conclude this article, considering the raising number of single-parent households managed by mothers in Costa Rica, the author states that investing in the education of head-of-home mothers is necessary to educate children as people with rights.	es-ES
