Resumen
Ante los cambios que ocurren en el medio ambiente, se hace necesario, por parte del ser humano, hacer conciencia del impacto que tienen las acciones que se realizan en las diferentes actividades diarias; por este motivo, la Dirección de Gestión de Calidad Ambiental (DIGECA) busca que todas las instituciones públicas de Costa Rica implementen el Programa de Gestión Ambiental Institucional (PGAI).
El trabajo realizado tuvo como finalidad diseñar un modelo de requerimientos para la organización de la información ambiental, generada por las actividades que se realizan en el Recinto de Grecia de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), a fin de desarrollar un sistema de información que cumpla con lo solicitado por el PGAI. Para ello, fue necesario identificar las actividades que gestiona la Comisión de Gestión Ambiental del Recinto de Grecia.
Realizando un análisis de tipo cuantitativo, se logró la creación de instrumentos que permitieron determinar los requisitos para el sistema de información, así como el diseño del modelo de requerimiento que sirvió como insumo y que ayudará al desarrollo de una aplicación de automatización.
El modelo de requerimientos impulsará la realización del sistema de información para la actualización de datos y la realización de los reportes que se presentan a DIGECA, además, que podrá compartir con las demás Sedes y Recintos de la Universidad de Costa Rica para su uso.
Given the changes that occur in the environment, it is necessary for human beings to be aware of the impact of the actions carried out in different activities, for this reason the Dirección de Gestión de Calidad Ambiental (DIGECA) seeks that all public institutions in Costa Rica implement the Institutional Environmental Management Program (by its acronym in Spanish PGAI). The research work carried out was intended to design a model of requirements for the organization of environmental information generated by the activities carried out in the Greece Campus of the UCR, in order to develop an information system that complies with the request of the PGAI, for this it was necessary to identify the activities managed by the Environmental Management Commission of the Recito de Grecia where said work was developed. Performing a quantitative analysis, the creation of instruments was achieved to determine the requirements for the information system, as well as the design of the requirement model that served as an input that will help the development of an automation application. Carrying out the realization of the information system, it will facilitate the updating of data and the realization of the reports that are presented to DIGECA, in addition to which it can be shared with the other Headquarters and Campuses of the University of Costa Rica for its use.
