Abstract
La principal deficiencia encontrada en los planos constructivos se resume en la falta de consistencia del diseño geométrico, reflejado en un irregular perfil de velocidades de operación esperado para esta ruta.
Adicionalmente, se considera de alto riesgo para los potenciales conductores de esta carretera, el hecho de que los análisis revelaron un porcentaje muy reducido de la carretera con condiciones geométricas propicias para realizar maniobras de adelantamiento, ante la eventual formación de “columnas” de vehículos en los tramos de un único carril por sentido. Esta última condición de un único carril por sentido es la predominante en este proyecto de carretera.
El diseño del proyecto deberá ser actualizado en relación al señalamiento vial propuesto, de tal forma que se dé cumplimiento al criterio de estandarización de la demarcación, conforme lo indica el Manual Centroamericano de Dispositivos Uniformes para el Control del Tránsito. Adicionalmente, se consideran insuficientes los controles mostrados en planos y propuestos para la regulación de la velocidad máxima permitida.

Additionally, it is considered high risk for potential drivers of this road, the fact that the analysis revealed a very small percentage of the road with geometric conditions conducive to overtaking maneuvers, before the possible formation of "columns" of vehicles in the sections of a single lane in each direction. This last condition of a single lane in each direction is the predominant one in this highway project. The design of the project must be updated in relation to the proposed road marking, in such a way that the standardization criterion of the demarcation is complied with, as indicated in the Central American Manual of Uniform Devices for Traffic Control.
