Abstract
En el mercado laboral actual, las empresas utilizan los equipos de trabajo como sus principales unidades productivas, en especial, aquellas dedicadas en el área de tecnologías de información;sin embargo, existe una creciente brecha generacional entre los integrantes de dichos equipos. El conocer y respetar las diferencias existentes entre las generaciones presentes es de suma importancia para que el administrador de proyectos pueda conseguir el mejor desempeño posible de su equipo. El teambuilding se ofrece como estrategia para mejorar diferentes características de los equipos, desde su cohesión, pasando por el de información que se genera hasta incluir la resolución de conflictos. Dicha estrategia puede ser mejorada y adaptada a los equipos multigeneracionales, lo cual generará herramientas que permitan un mejor manejo de las diferencias presentes en los equipos y mejorará los resultados que el teambuilding puede ofrecer a la administración de proyectos.
In the modern workforce, the group teams have become the main functional unity, especially in the information technology market. However, there is a growing problematic in the multi-generational aspects of this group teams. Learn how to know and respect this difference in generation is very important for the project manager, so the best performance of the team can be achieved. Teambuilding is offer in response, as a strategy for improve many characteristics of the group teams, including group cohesion, information flow, and even conflict resolution. This known strategy can be improved and adapt to respond to the differences in multi-generation work teams, and new tools can be offered to the project manager, so allow a better understanding of the age groups differences presents in the teams, achieving better results out of the teambuilding exercises and improving the overall work of the team, and hence the target project.
