El pueblo wayuu de la Guajira colombo-venezolana: un panorama de su cultura

Abstract

This article describes the origin of the Wayuu, as well as their history through time. Wayuu culture is related to the environment in which they live. Their way of life, even in our times, is characterized by cultural way of resistance to the western world and the recovery of the traditions.Este artículo permite una descripción del origen de los wayuu, así como de su historia a través del tiempo. Se relaciona a la cultura wayuu con el ambiente en el cual viven, y se sigue el análisis de su vivencia hasta nuestros días, viendo su modo cultural de resistencia contra el mundo occidental y el rescate de sus tradiciones.
