Análisis de variaciones de la velocidad a partir de datos de estaciones permanentes de monitoreo del tránsito

Abstract

Se presenta un análisis estadístico de velocidades vehiculares registradas en cuatro estaciones permanentes de conteo de la Dirección de Planificación Sectorial del Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT). Los datos se analizaron de acuerdo a la clasificación por cantidad de ejes, tipo de vehículo, día de la semana y hora del día, a los que se les aplicó diferentes pruebas de hipótesis para comprobar la similitud entre categorías mencionadas y se presentan valores de variabilidad de la velocidad expresada en términos de su desviación estándar.A statistical analysis of vehicle speeds registered in four permanent counting stations of the Planning Secretary (Secretaría de Planificación Sectorial) of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes, MOPT) is presented. The data were analyzed according to a vehicular classification by number of axles, type of vehicle, day of the week and time of day, to which different hypothesis tests were applied to verify the similarity between the mentioned categories; additionally, variability values of the velocity expressed in terms of its standard deviation are presented
