Abstract
With this research project, most representative load patterns are determined, in order to be used in a suitable structural design for pavements in Costa Rica. Compiled information will serve as input for the Structural Design of Pavements Guide of our country. More specifically, the general objective of the project is to determine and quantify the principal load parameter properties for structural pavement design which currently prevail in primary national routes in Costa Rica, which will serve as input for modeling its effect in the performance of pavement structures to enhance road design, construction, reconstruction, and maintenance. In this report a summary will be elaborated including the obtained results in different final graduation projects (load, inflation pressure and lateral wheel deviation). Finally, dissemination activities made are included as well.
