Abstract
ABSTRACT: The contribution of this book from the educational perspective is with thought-provoking theoretical and methodological discussions, showing the need to carry out tasks in the classroom focused and relevant by recognition as a value, the knowledge of ethic groups and incorporating them into school work. Research results are provided that take into account specific and indigenous knowledge, and demonstrate how the teaching-learning processes meet educational objectives, as well as can prevent forms of discrimination and exclusion from school and social life. The work has a critical and respectful stance that makes it an important source for academics, teachers, students and the ethnic groups themselves involved, and is expected to be a mandatory review for the student in training.
