Resumen
Descripción
The clinical and radiological absence of a tooth, temporary or permanent, in the oral cavity, with no history of extraction, avulsion, or exfoliation, is known as anodontia and this may be total or partial. If the absence is up to six teeth, the condition is known as hypodontia. The term oligodontia is used when more than six teeth are absent. This article describes a case of partial oligodontia in a young patient with a family history of this disorder.
