Abstract
Este informe presenta un análisis de distintos procedimientos utilizados para el control de compactación de capas asfálticas, de conformidad con la normativa que regula esta técnica de control de calidad.
El estudio realizado incluye capas con espesores diferentes, colocadas en distintos proyectos, así como especímenes con diferentes formas geométricas y grados de absorción de agua.
El trabajo experimental se dividió en dos etapas: la primera consistió en el estudio de la viabilidad técnica del muestreo de campo y la determinación del porcentaje de vacíos de las muestras tomadas, mientras que la segunda etapa consistió en la verificación de la viabilidad técnica de determinar los vacíos de la mezcla asfáltica en el laboratorio.
This report presents an analysis of different procedures used for the control of compaction of asphalt layers, in accordance with the guidelines that regulate this technique of quality control. The study carried out includes layers with different thicknesses, placed in different projects, as well as specimens with different geometrical shapes and degrees of water absorption. The experimental work was divided into two stages: the first consisted in the study of the technical feasibility of the field sampling and the determination of the percentage of voids of the samples taken, while the second stage consisted in the verification of the technical feasibility of determining the voids of the asphalt mixture in the laboratory.
