Informe Preliminar, Análisis estructural y diseño de rehabilitación (carretera Jiménez - Siquirres)

Abstract

En este informe, la ruta evaluada se divide con base en dos categorías: la primera según la evaluación visual de la condición superficial de la capa asfáltica y la segunda con base en los resultados obtenidos con el ensayo de Viga Benkelman. Además, desarrolla dos temas principales: la evaluación de la condición actual de la estructura de pavimento y las cargas de tránsito, y el análisis de posibles intervenciones de rehabilitación con lo cual se obtiene la vida útil probable de cada una de ellas, de manera que permitan obtener un criterio técnico para seleccionar la intervención que se decida realizar.

In this report, the evaluated route is divided into two categories: the first according to the visual evaluation of the surface condition of the asphalt layer and the second based on the results obtained with the Benkelman beam test. In addition, it develops two main topics: the evaluation of the current condition of the pavement structure and the traffic loads, and the analysis of possible rehabilitation interventions with which the probable lifetime of each of them is obtained, so that allow to obtain a technical criterion to select the intervention that is decided to perform.
