Resumen
Mediante el análisis textos de algunas obras filosóficas y literarias del escritor y pensador español Miguel de Unamuno (1864 – 1936), el presente escrito pretende identificar algunos elementos de la educación humanista entendida como un proceso que se interesa por la formación integral de las personas en sus contextos específicos ejerciendo la libertad con dignidad, siendo seres únicos irrepetibles que respeten las diversidades de todos los seres que conforman el universo. El texto llama la atención para que en la educación siempre se tome en cuenta, junto a la razón, las emociones, los sentimientos y todos los elementos que constituyen al ser humano. Se concluye que la principal preocupación de Unamuno, es su gran interés para que los seres humanos sientan y experimente el amor por educarse y educar a sus semejantes.
Through the analysis of texts of some philosophical and literary works of the Spanish writer and thinker Miguel de Unamuno (1864 – 1936), this paper aims to identify some elements of humanist education understood as a process that is interested in the integral formation of people in their specific contexts exercising freedom with dignity, being unique, unrepeatable beings that respect the diversities of all beings that make up the universe. The text’s objective is to take into account reason, emotions, feelings, and all the elements that constitute the human being within education. It is concluded that the main concern of Unamuno is his great interest for human beings to feel and experience the love for educating themselves and their fellow human beings.
