Entre la movilización y la desmovilización política: Reflexiones metodológicas sobre desigualdad, Sufrimiento y movimientos sociales

Abstract

En este artículo se analiza la relación existente entre desigualdad, sufrimiento y movimientos sociales. Para analizar dicha relación, se exponen los hallazgos de algunas investigaciones que se han realizado en este tema. Posteriormente, se analiza el trabajo realizado en el Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales (IIS) de la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR), con el fin de aportar al estudio de los movimientos sociales.This article explores the relation between inequality, social suffering and social movements. To analyze this relation, it explores some researches that shows how has been studied this field of knowledge. Afterwards, this paper examines the work realized in the Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales (IIS) of the Universidad de Costa Rica, to contribute to the analysis of social movements.
