Inspección visual de calle El Tanque, distrito de San Joaquín, Cantón de Flores

Abstract

La Municipalidad de Flores solicitó la colaboración del LanammeUCR por medio del PITRA, Unidad de Gestión Municipal con el objetivo de obtener un criterio técnico y recomendaciones acerca de las condiciones y pasos a seguir en el proyecto: Construcción del sistema pluvial y colocación de mezcla asfáltica requeridas para los proyecto en la calle El Tanque y la calle El Progreso. Profesionales de la UGM del LanammeUCR realizaron una inspección visual específicamente en la calle El Tanque donde se observaron algunos elementos del sistema de drenaje pluvial existente como cunetas prefabricadas de concreto, tragante y pozos de registro pluvial. Se encontró que estos elementos se encuentran en aparentes condiciones estructurales aceptables y muy malas condiciones funcionales debido a la gran cantidad de sedimento y desechos que se han acumulado. En este informe se indica la condición general observada durante la inspección de los elementos del sistema pluvial y se dan recomendaciones de los pasos a seguir en el análisis de las obras existentes para definir si es necesario realizar algún tipo de reparación, rehabilitación o reconstrucción para asegurar el adecuado desempeño del sistema de drenaje pluvial y la estructura de pavimento a construir. El LanammeUCR no recolectó muestras de materiales, tampoco realizó ensayos en sitio ni en laboratorio.The Municipality of Flores requested the collaboration of LanammeUCR through PITRA, Municipal Management Department in order to obtain technical criteria and recommendations on the conditions and steps to follow in the project: Construction of the storm drainage system and placement of asphalt required for the project at El Tanque and El Progreso roads. Professionals of UGM unit of the LanammeUCR conducted a visual inspection specifically at El Tanque where were observed some elements of the existing storm drainage system as the prefabricated concrete culverts, catchpits and stormwater manholes. It was found that these elements are in apparently acceptable structural condition, and in a very bad operating condition due to the large amount of sediment and debris that have been accumulated. This report indicates the overall condition seen during the inspection of the stormwater system elements and recommendations are given of the steps to follow in the analysis of the existing works to determine whether it is necessary to perform some type of repair, rehabilitation, or reconstruction to ensure the proper discharge of the stormwater drainage system and pavement structure to be build. The LanammeUCR did not collect samples of materials, either conducted tests on-site or laboratory.
