Intuitivamente, un conjunto es finito si termina quedando vacío al extraerle elementos de uno en uno. El propósito de este trabajo es formalizar esta noción de finitud conjuntista y discutir algunas propiedades que se derivan de ella, en un marco teórico-conjuntista independiente del Axioma de Selección.
Intuitively, a set is finite if eventually it becomes empty by extraction one by one of its elements. The purpose of this paper is to formalize this notion of set finiteness and to discuss some properties which derives from that definition, in a set-theoretical frame independent of the Axiom of Choice.
