In this research proposal the development of an experimental investigation of four stages arises: first, a research stage from which the present report was generated, two stages involving the use of conceptual models with one degree of freedom and a last stage which it proposes the development of a final graduation work from the scale model of the pile of a prototype bridge. The concept of artificial mass is introduced as a solution to the limitation of vertical load of the vibrating tables, including a review of articles showing the use of reduced scale models with systems of artificial mass, which are taken as a basis for understanding the type of support and other features that are required by such system. In addition, is presented an analysis of the scaling factors used for reduced scale models reduced from a scale factor for the length.
