Resumen
Esta ponencia forma parte de la labor académica que lleva a cabo el Nodo de la Universidad de Costa Rica para el Observatorio Regional de la Calidad de la Equidad en la Educación Superior (ORACLE), un espacio científico para la investigación socioeducativa. Este aporte académico estudia la percepción del personal docente de la Universidad de Costa Rica, en relación con el desarrollo de la calidad de la equidad en la educación superior de esa institución; con un enfoque de investigación socio educativa tendiente al análisis de este componente en el desarrollo de la labor académica que realiza el profesorado. Entre los principales avances de investigación se muestra la diversidad en las realidades que enfrentan educadores, pero consistencia en las percepciones de sus respectivos estamentos universitarios y una articulación que requiere ser atendida en términos institucionales para el mejoramiento de la calidad de la equidad en la Universidad de Costa Rica.
This article is part of the academic work carried out by the Node of the University of Costa Rica for the Regional Observatory on Equity in Higher Education (ORACLE), which serves as a scientific space for socio-educational research. This academic contribution examines the perception of teaching staff at the University of Costa Rica regarding the development of equity in the higher education system of that institution. It represents a socio-educational research endeavor aimed at analyzing this component within the academic work conducted by the faculty. Among the main research findings, the article highlights the diversity of realities faced by teaching staff, as well as the consistency in the perceptions across their respective university bodies. It emphasizes the need for institutional attention and coordination to enhance the quality of equity at the University of Costa Rica. The study underscores the importance of addressing these issues to improve the institutional framework and promote equity in the university's educational environment.
