The present work consists of the structural design of four projects, which are: steel industrial warehouse, reinforced concrete building with a mixed flat slab system, 102 m vehicular bridge with straight metal beams and substructure with reinforced concrete bastions, industrial complex with an elevated metal silo and a post-tensioned concrete tank on the ground. The first design case corresponds to a metal building with mezzanine, which has four frames with beams of 26 m in length and a separation between them of 6 m. The structure has two mezzanines at the corners of the floors supported by external and internal columns. The second work is a 10-story reinforced concrete building with a post-tensioned flat slab, which has a width of 17.2 m and a length of 61 m. The structure consists of 12 resistance lines in the short direction and 5 in the perpendicular direction, which are composed of continuous walls and columns without offsets. The typical spans of the floor clearances are 11.6 m by 6.3 m. The third design is a three-span bridge of 34 m for a distance between bastions of 102 m, which has two lanes in each direction. The superstructure is a conventional reinforced concrete slab supported by 8 structural steel beams. The substructure is composed of 2 piers, which are 4-column frames in the transverse direction of the bridge with a single upper beam. On the other hand, bastions are reinforced concrete walls. The foundations are shallow, since the support is based on rock. The fourth case have 2 structures of an industrial complex for storing rice. The first of them is a 20.5 m high and 7 m diameter elevated metal silo, which is supported by 4.5 m high braced frames. These frames have a hexagonal configuration and are X-braced. The other structure is a 20 m diameter and 20.8m height circular tank. The material used for the walls is prestressed concrete. In both cases the foundations are shallow, since the support is based on rock. Construction plans, budgets and technical specifications are prepared based of the designs.
