Abstract
This essay will evaluate the complicities and limitations of Michel Foucault’s work towards his taking up by the New Materialisms. It is argued that Foucault incurs in a Summa divisio between the living and the non-living, which is why it is proposed here to follow two lines of flight: an “unknown genealogy” and a “biopolitics of strata”.
