Estudios de los sitios Aurora y Chagüite en el intermontano central de Costa Rica: diseño e iconografía en artefactos prehispánicos

Resumen
Se presenta una propuesta metodológica novedosa para hacer interpretación
por medio del análisis contextual de materiales precolombinos obtenidos
de sitios arqueológicos específicos ubicados en la región del intermontano
central de Costa Rica. La base metodológica radica en la conjugación
entre las visiones antropológicas y las teorías del diseño. De esta manera,
se presenta una serie de material bibliográfico desde las artes visuales y su
conjunción con la arqueología, dando preferencia al material bibliográfico
costarricense, al ser el lugar de estudio. Al final se describen y presentan
dos sitios arqueológicos con los cuales iniciará esta investigación (Aurora y
Chagüite) y sus respectivas ilustraciones de las piezas arqueológicas seleccionadas.
Dicho material formará parte de un futuro catálogo, dirigido a una
población que desea conocer sobre aspectos de la arqueología y el diseño
prehispánico de la zona.
