Abstract
Covid 19 disease presents a deregulation of both the innate and acquired immune responses whose advances in scientific research have shown the presence of inflammatory and anti-inflammatory factors that have lost the ability to preserve homeostasis and correct control of the viral infection, causing the deployment of multiple pathways that lead to a process of endothelial dysfunction dependent on the intrinsic characteristics of the patients and the heterogeneity of mechanisms that lead to multiple organ dysfunction. The objective of this bibliographic review is to describe the immunological response in Covid 19 and its relationship with the severity of the disease, its outcome and immunotherapy.
