Resumen
Este proyecto de investigación presenta una propuesta de implementación de una BiblioCRA en la Escuela Centro América en Tirrases de Curridabat, la cual sería de acceso para los estudiantes de la institución y que permitiría al personal docente y bibliotecario una mayor intervención en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, con la implementación de Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (TIC).
Los antecedentes de la propuesta se fundamentan en la problemática de la comunidad y la necesidad de brindar mayores herramientas a los estudiantes, que les permitan mantenerse en el sistema educativo y hacer caso omiso de las problemáticas sociales que les rodean.
El objetivo general del proyecto consiste en proponer una guía para la transformación de biblioteca escolar a BiblioCRA, que apoye el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de la Escuela Centro América en Tirrases de Curridabat, siendo que para su alcance se abordarán tres objetivos específicos, a saber: a) identificar los recursos financieros, humanos, tecnológicos, documentales, audiovisuales y de espacio físico de la biblioteca de la Escuela Centro América, para conocer su situación actual; b) proponer los servicios bibliotecarios a ofrecer, recursos y materiales de aprendizaje, requerimientos de equipos tecnológicos, mobiliario y herramientas de tecnologías de información y comunicación que apoyen el aprendizaje a los docentes y estudiantes para la transición a BiblioCRA; y c) diseñar una guía de transformación a BiblioCRA, para la biblioteca escolar.
El método de recolección y análisis de la información fue cualitativo, siendo que se realizaron entrevistas a docentes y estudiantes, de manera que los resultados obtenidos se procesaron en diferentes instrumentos y posteriormente se elaboró la propuesta y conclusiones de la investigación.
El principal hallazgo son los recursos existentes y las ventajas para los estudiantes ante la implementación de una BiblioCRA, contando el proyecto con el apoyo de las instancias administrativas del centro educativo.
This research project presents a proposal for the implementation of a BiblioCRA in the Centro América School in Tirrases of Curridabat, Costa Rica. This BiblioCRA would be accessible to all students of the institution and would allow teaching and library staff to have a greater impact on teaching and learning processes, through the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The background of the proposal is based on the problems of the community and the need to provide students with more tools to help them stay in the educational system and ignore the social problems that surround them. The general objective of the project is to propose a guide for the transformation of a school library to a BiblioCRA, which will support the learning of students at the Centro América School in Tirrases of Curridabat. To achieve this, three specific objectives will be addressed: a) Identify the financial, human, technological, documentary, audiovisual, and physical space resources of the library of the Centro América School, in order to know its current situation, b) Propose the library services to be offered, resources and learning materials, requirements for technological equipment, furniture, and information and communication technologies tools that will support the learning of teachers and students at the Centro América School for the transition to BiblioCRA, c) Design a BiblioCRA transformation guide for the school library of the Centro América School. The method of data collection and analysis was qualitative, with interviews being conducted with teachers and students. The results obtained were processed in different instruments and then used to develop the proposal and conclusions of the research. The main finding is the existing resources and the advantages for students of implementing a BiblioCRA.
