Abstract
Within the applied methodologies used by the National Road Network Evaluation Unit, there is the development of a vulnerability analysis of the infrastructure that includes parameters such as the vulnerability of the drainage systems (water flow, gutters and bridges), the vulnerability of bridges under seismic threat and the susceptibility to slippage, mud and litter flows. The following report evaluates only the vulnerability of intermediate drainage works of the Barranca– Liberia (National Route 1) section, with a length of 121 km with the purpose of diagnosing its actual condition and proposing measures to contribute to the existent vulnerability reduction. In subsequent reports the analysis of the other mentioned parameters will be included.
