Abstract
This paper has as its central theme the Sartrean notion of digestive philosophy. First, the genesis of this concept, as well as its meaning, is exposed. Subsequently, the central approaches of idealism and realism (both cataloged as digestive philosophies) are presented along with the criticisms, elaborated by Sartre, regarding each of these. In the end, reference is made to the solution offered by the French philosopher to the problems revealed in his analysis of the realistic and idealist position.
