Abstract
Esta auditoría revisó el proceso de adquisición del ERP de la organización usando el marco de referencia COBIT5, específicamente el dominio Construir, adquirir e implementar conocido como BAI por sus siglas en ingles.
El objetivo del examen realizado fue determinar si el proceso de adquisición del software se ajustó a las mejores prácticas en apoyo la decisión de la administración por adquirir un ERP.
El examen determino que la selección del ERP fue técnicamente razonable y ajustada a la arquitectura de los sistemas de información de la organización y dentro del presupuesto aprobado para este proyecto.
Dentro de la metodología desarrollada usando un estándar (PMBOK), los hallazgos fueron la no inclusión de la gestión de riesgos y de calidad lo que habría ayudado a evitar los hallazgos en la determinación de los requerimientos y en el plan de pruebas.
Como conclusión tenemos que, ante cualquier proyecto relacionado con software; adquirido o desarrollado, es preciso tener documentados los procesos actuales de negocio a ser implementados en el nuevo software para poder contrastarlos con las facilidades del nuevo software y así hacer un análisis que permita definir un cambio de proceso de negocio o una customización.
Los marcos de referencias son guías que consolidan la experiencia de profesionales en diversos campos, su debida adopción permite a las organizaciones lograr resultados previstos con el valor agregado esperado.
This audit reviewed the process of acquisition of the ERP acquisition using COBIT5 as framework, specifically the domain Build, Acquire and Implement known as BAI. The objective was to determine if the process of acquisition of the software was executed according to the best practices and if it validated the decision of the administration to acquire an ERP that contributes to the achievement of its strategic objectives. The examination results were: the selection of the ERP was technically reasonable and adjusted to the architecture of the information technology of the organization and within the budget. Within the methodology developed using a standard (PMBOK), the findings were the non-inclusion of risk and quality management which would have helped avoid the findings in the determination of the requirements and in the test plan. As a conclusion any software project; acquired or developed, it is necessary to have properly documented the processes of the business to be implemented in the new software, to be able to contrast them with the new software and thus make an analysis that allows to define a change of the process of the business or a customization. Frameworks are valuable guides that consolidate the experience of professionals in several fields, their due adoption allows organizations to achieve expected results with the expected added value.
