Abstract
Este trabajo pretende analizar la relación entre la teoría spinoziana de las afecciones y los efectos de los gunas en la materia, con respecto al influjo y gestión de las pasiones a partir del estudio de la Ética y del Bhagavad-gītā. Se evidencian no solo aspectos en común, sino también diferencias que subyacen a sus respectivas propuestas con el fin de lograr la comprensión del quehacer filosófico en un sentido más amplio, al apreciar diferentes maneras de abordar tópicos fundamentales en el campo de la ética en Oriente y Occidente.
This work aims to analyze the relationship between Spinoza’s theory of affections and the effects of gunas on matter, in relation to the influence and management of passions, based on the study of the Ethics and the Bhagavad-gītā. Through this analysis, common aspects as well as differences underlying their respective philosophies are evident, aiming to achieve a broader understanding of philosophical endeavors by appreciating different approaches to fundamental topics in the field of ethics in both East and West.
