Animals of Costa Rica: poems for kids

Abstract

This book includes seven poems for kids along with an interactive pop-up design about species from different animal groups of Costa Rica: the humpback whale, the blue morpho butterfly, the eyelash pitviper, the great green macaw, the three toed sloth, the jaguar and the blue jeans poison dart frog. The poems highlight specific characteristics of the animals whereas the pop-up illustrates each animal in its habitat with lively designs.
