La salvaguardia del patrimonio cultural intangible y la diversidad cultural en sociedades multiculturales: el caso costarricense

Abstract

Estamos compelidos a sugerir tácticas para resguardar los bienes, incluidos los intangibles. Cualquier bien cultural adquiere sentido a través de los valores inmateriales del objeto: una ingeniosa técnica, su vinculación con lo sagrado, un oficio significativo en la historia de un pueblo, una construcción realizada por inmigrantes que ayudaron al desarrollo y a la diversidad... Las sociedades centroamericanas no están ajenas a la mundialización y el agotamiento ante las modalidades de crisis es fácil presa de la ilusión que ofrece la circulación de nuestros productos culturales en el mercado internacional.
